David was born in La Junta, Colorado to Carol and LeRoy Menges on December 19, 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his oldest brother, Donald Menges. He is survived by brother, Dale ( Bonnie) Menges; sister, Denise Menges; multiples nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He retired as a proud Teamster. He was a hunter, motorcycle enthusiast, photographer, world traveler, and collector of collections. He especially enjoyed collecting '57 Chevy diecast cars and entering his own '57 Chevy in car shows. He also enjoyed collecting Southwest pottery and rugs and was known for his creativity and artistic talents.
David was loved by family, friends, and his cat, Marmalade "Marmie". He will be dearly missed. David was known and will be remembered by all for doing it his way.
A Committal Service will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 on June 19, 2026 at 12:00pm.
