Mike was a beloved husband, father, and friend to many. He was a local institution in the Edgewater business community and was known to hundreds as a kind and honest man who loved to work on classic cars and spend time with his 6 grandchildren. Mike served in Vietnam with the US Army where he was injured in active duty and sent to recover in Oahu, HI where he met the love of his life and soulmate Karen. The two of them built a wonderful life, family and never left each other’s side for over 50 years.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 53.5 years Karen, his son Michael and his wife Angela, son Jason and his wife Christina, his grandchildren Nathan, Joseph, Zachary, Kamea, Miranda and his great-granddaughter Anela.
A Mass and celebration of life will be held for Mike Saturday November 27, 2021 at the Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 W Milan Ave, Sheridan, CO 80110. Mass will begin at 10 am for anyone interested in attending Catholic Mass and the celebration of life will immediately follow in the adjoining hall at 11 am.
