David Lee Sanders, 59, passed away on October 30, 2016. He was born in Omaha, NE to Mary Agnes Sanders and Roy Adair Sanders. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Wheat Ridge, CO. He graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1975 going on to attend the University of Northern Colorado until joining the United States Marine Corps in 1979. During his career in the Marine Corps he graduated from Park College (University), with a Bachelor of Science, Cumae Laude. After 20 years of faithful service he retired from the Marine Corps at the rank of Master Sargent in 2000. He continued to work for the Federal Government through 2011. He is survived by his Daughter Crystal Leta (James) Moses; son Aaron Ray Sanders; Grandson Charles James Moses; Mother Mary Agnes Cosselmon; and Sisters Denise Renee Sanders and Debra Rae Sanders. David was a loving father and son with a unique artistic perspective on the world whose talent and love will be missed.
