David Carroll Shipp, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 21, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. His final days were spent with his family at his side. Born on July 6, 1959 in Denver, Colorado, David was the son of the late Jack C. Shipp and Judith A. Shipp, and the second oldest of seven children. He was married to Lynn Salvucci on July 18, 1987 in Denver, Colorado.
David is survived by his two children, Kelsey and John David (JD); their Mom, Lynn; son-in-law, Joe Silipo; mother-in-law, Pat Salvucci; six siblings, Terry, Dan, Mike, Julie, Mary Beth, John and their spouses; granddaughter, Lyla Silipo, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for David will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2250 South Harrison Street, Denver, Colorado 80210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Military Heroes Campaign.
