I am deeply saddened to hear of Dave's passing.  My condolences are expressed for  Dave's wife,Judy, and their children. Dave and I first met when Dave hired on to the electric line department in Denver with the then, Public Service Company of Colorado(now Xcel Energy). 
We worked together off and on for many years. There after, we 
 shared many enjoyable times. Dave, like many of us, progressed through various disciplines until achieving the status of journeyman lineman. 
Dave was active as an employee at the Public Service Company serving as an instructor in the joint apprenticeship program for upcoming apprentice linemen. who were enrolled in the  program at PSCo. 
Dave also served as a shop steward for Local Union 111, IBEW and participated in the local union as an executive board member.
We, my wife Gail, and I, shared an enjoyable friendship for many years with Dave and Judy.
