Obituary of Deborah Lou Greenlee
Debbie is survived by her Father Benjamin Greenlee, Mother Kathleen Oehlkers, Step Mother, Sarah Greenlee, Sister Tammy Narula (Greenlee), Uncle Bob Selwinder and Aunt Barbara Selwinder, Aunt Francis (Fran) Robbins, Cousins: Lynna, Carlyn, Lana and Dean and other extended family members Debbie spent a large portion of her life caring for humans and other living creatures. Debbie was the full-time caregiver for her own Mother for many years. She performed this task with dedication and love. She loved all God's creation and in particular the animal life. Debbie was an accomplished Horsewoman. She even competed in gymkhana horse competitions which included jumping and barrel racing. One of the horses she competed with and loved was named Shy Girl..They made a real nice and successful team. Dogs were always part of Debbie's heart starting with her childhood dog..Buffy who was a cocker spaniel. She loved to dress Buffy up in nice clothes as a child. Four families today are blessed to have the animal (dog) companions that Debbie rescued and rehomed to them. She left her dearly loved own little Lilly dog who is now with Debbie's Mother. Debbie was a lifelong Jehovah's Witness. Debbie firmly believed in the Father, Jehovah, God and his son Jesus Christ. In her heart she believed in the ransom and God's hope of a resurrection to eternal life. She often shared her hope with other people. Her family looks forward to the time, we will see her again in Paradise. Scrapbooking was a pass time. Debbie loved to cook, and we (the family) loved eating her cooking, as she was great at that. She also collected pig statues and memorabilia and enjoyed dabbling in different "artsy" projects. Debbie was generous to a fault. She loved talking and easily made instant friends. Her heart was open and kind to humans and animals alike. On September 16, 2022, a person full of love left the world of humans and her beloved animals better off because she had been part of their world. But also left them sadder because she no longer would remain in their lives during this time and for now.
