

Deborah L. Hickey, age 70, of Broomfield, CO, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 with loved ones surrounding her.
Deb was born on May 17, 1954 in Denver, CO to Calvin and Edith Gray. She married the love of Her life, Jerry T. Hickey on June 24, 1972. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Edith Gray and her brother Ronnie Padilla.
Deb is survived by her husband Jerry and her three children Chanel, Calean and Frankie. Her five grandchildren Angelica, Rongelique, Prysten, Aliyah and Harlee. Along with her three great-grandchildren Braelynn, Paisley, Chevelle.
Deb loved hosting and planning Parties. She dreamt of being a party planner/event coordinator and had plans to open a wedding venue. She loved cooking and baking and made the greatest banana nut bread in the world. Deb enjoyed going all out for her BBQ’s and parties she would host at her home in Broomfield, CO.
One thing she loved the most, was singing karaoke with Chanel, Ginny, Aunt Sandy, Jason and anyone that wasn’t afraid to grab the mic.
Deb loved traveling to Florida, staying in their vacation home and going to Disney World. She loved meeting new people. Not a single person was a stranger. She loved trying new restaurants, going shopping, especially to walmart. She was one that had to go to every Walmart that she could. Near and far.
Deb was a great teacher and would always be the one to step up and take the reins.
Deb loved anything that had to do with UFO’s. She loved going out for a late night “buggy ride” just to go UFO hunting. Life was never dull with Deb around. Her home was always full with family, friends and neighbors, and she always made enough supper to ensure nobody went hungry.
Deb will be deeply missed by many..
