Dennis A. Nelson, age 76 passed away May 31, 2015 in Westminster, Colorado. Dennis was born May 2, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thomas and Mary Nelson. He married LaVonne M. Zordel on May 29, 1976 in Denver. Dennis is survived by his children: Kelly Schroder, Clara Artymovich, Barbara and Joseph Butts, Dawn and Doug Bockman and Sharon Nelson; grandchildren: Laina Schroder, Tawyna Russell, Shannon Crom, and Brittany Artymovich; great grandchildren: Jon Artymovich, Tyler Artymovich, Jerod Crom, JadaLynne Crom and Jonah Crom; siblings: Patricia Poole, Jeannette Zordel and Donald Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Nelson and his grandson Jon Bockman. Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2015 from 5-7:00 P.M. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the Children’s Hospital.
