Donald Lee Debus

Donald Lee Debus age 90, passed away on March 16, 2020.

He was born in Denver, Colorado on March 20, 1929 to Henry and Elizabeth Debus. He enlisted in the Navy at 17 and served his country with pride. He remained active in the Denver community selling insurance for Prudential Insurance Company for more than 30 years. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan maintaining season tickets for forty years.

Don will be deeply missed by his surviving children Debra Lynn (Paul) Hogan of Longmont Colorado, and Scott (Pam) Debus of Port Charlotte Florida; seven grandchildren Kristine,Stevie,Shay,Kate,Shannon (Paul), Ryan (Christina) and Jarret (Jayme) and six great grandchildren.He is survived by his brother Richard Debus of Denver Colorado. Preceded in death by his brother Elmer, sister Flora, son Steven, and his ex wife Joyce Debus.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 23,2020 at one o’clock pm with funeral service to follow at two o’clock at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. Entombment to follow.

Your dad was a good man. We were fortunate to get to know him a little bit over the years. He brought Don and I to our first Broncos football game. We also fondly remember going to a Rockies game with Don, Scott, Pam and the kids. We are very sad for your loss. Much love to all of you.
