

Donna Lee Graige, born March 10, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David J. Graige.
Donna’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Patton (Chuck) of Ackerman, MS, and Janet Graige of Round Rock, TX, and her son, Dan Graige (Dawn Marie) of Lakewood, CO. Donna was a proud and devoted grandmother to Curtis Doyle III, Jonathan Doyle (Rachel), Rebekkah Bingham (Cody), and Sidney Lipitz (Thomas), as well as a loving great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. She was also deeply cherished by her brothers, Bill Owen of Denver, CO, and Bob Owen (Susie) of Arvada, CO, and her sister, Sherrie Lundgren (Kent) of Prescott Valley, AZ, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her family was the center of her world, and she showered them with love, support, and generosity, always making them feel special and cared for.
Donna was known for her warm and generous spirit, whether offering a helping hand, a thoughtful gift, or simply lending a listening ear, she was always there for those in need. Her sense of humor brightened every room, and her infectious laughter brought joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. Donna had a unique way of making people feel comfortable and valued, and her positive energy was felt by everyone around her.
One of Donna’s most endearing traits was her love for ladybugs. She often remarked that they brought her good luck and would smile whenever she saw one. It became a personal symbol of her joyful spirit, and her family will forever associate ladybugs with her.
Professionally, Donna had a distinguished career in the Federal government, retiring as an auditor and leader of travel regulations for the General Services Administration (GSA). She was highly respected for her expertise in travel policy and her leadership in shaping Federal regulations. Donna traveled the world, sharing her knowledge and providing invaluable training to government agencies. After retiring, she founded T&T Solutions, where she continued to teach travel regulation, helping agencies nationwide navigate the complex world of travel policy.
Donna’s legacy is one of love, laughter, generosity, and a profound sense of service to her family, community, and country. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Olinger Crown Hill in the Pavilion of Reflection at 12:30 p.m., where her family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the many ways she touched their lives.
