What a joy it was to have known you Suzie. You always wore a smile, never wanted to talk about your physical challenges, and had an unsurpassed enthusiasm for life. I know that you in good care now and want those who miss you so terribly to continue on and experience life with all the joy and wonder that you did.

Russ and Susie were like second parents to me when I lived across the street from them growing up. Susie always made things fun had good snacks at the house! I loved her and my heart goes out to my dear friend, Kelly, and to all of Susie's family and friends.

Thank you for sharing the photos.  It helped us to see how well she loved and was loved by her family.  We are truly sorry for the loss you feel now, but have hope in the reunion at the resurrection.

Mom you are missed a ton.  Life seems like a piece of the puzzle is missing and will be found in memories, family and pictures.  I am at peace knowing that you are no longer in pain and in a far better place than this earthly world.  Knowing this will give me the strength to press on and to always hold you close to my heart.

Susie was a classmate of mine from Lutheran High School, 1961.  I was hoping to see her at our reunion in a couple of weeks.  My prayers go out to the family. I remember Susie with fondness, her smile and the happy nature around her. May God's peace be with you and thoughts of good times shared with her.

You never used your prettiness at LHS to attract attention to yourself.  Instead, you chose to give your attention to your classmates - girls and guys - to find-out for themselves your special secret: that being light-hearted and down-to-earth are much more important than being born a really pretty girl.  
You, "set the tone" for all of us guys and gals. You were just simply - YOUR WONDROUS SELF - and we will always be grateful to you and to your brother "Butch" who was also an extraordinarily really-good-guy.

Aw, Susie, we had such fun times growing up! My very best friend. I love the pictures of you and your family! Our class reunion will be sad without you, but you have suffered enough, now you are with the Lord in a perfect place.  We love you!

I admired Aunt Susie for her strength of character and her faith.  I will continue to be inspired by the actions she took and the things she said while she was alive.  She will live in my memories.

I remember how happy I was when Susie was elected attendant for the 1960 Athletic Banquet (pic)...she was just so CUTE! Even though we all lose contact with one another over the years, I am just so glad to know what a fulfilled life she had, with wonderful husband, children & grandchildren, plus rest of her family...Susie, so glad I knew you at Lutheran H.S.
