Edie was born March 25, 1938, in Port Angeles, Washington to Leona and Hank Williams. She moved with her family to Colorado as a young girl where she attended Freemont Elementary, Arvada Jr. High, and Arvada High School. She had five siblings, Howard “Howie” Williams (deceased), April Hogland, Larry Williams, Tom Williams and Ruth Skulborstad.
Edie married her one and only love of her life, husband W. Gary Perigo in 1955. They bought their first home in Arvada in 1961 where they raised four children.
Edie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her career. She loved baking and cooking wonderful meals for her family. She enjoyed meeting for coffee and lunch with her many friends. Edie was the glue that always held both sides of her family together by hosting many dinners and get togethers. Her family was always what she treasured the most. Edie will be remembered for the beautiful hand made cards that she crafted with love for nearly everyone she knew.
Edie is survived by her husband Gary, son Tim Perigo, daughters Debbie King (husband Lou George), Tammy Curtis and Cindy Mues (husband Dan Mues). Also by her five grandchildren, Jason King, Noble Curtis (wife Irene Curtis), Joy Curtis (husband Trevor Peter), Evan Mues and Paris Mues and one great grandchild, Aiden King.
The family will have a life celebration honoring Edie later in the spring or summer of 2019.
Please contact Cindy Mues by phone or e-mail if you would like to be notified of the date of the celebration. [email protected] or by phone 303-808-7747.
