Edie was born on February 24th, 1936 in Manhattan, Kansas to Herbert Atkeson and Myrtle Dunn. She moved to Denver when she was 3 years old and attended Skinner Middle School. She had a successful career at Adams County School District #14 and retired after 40+ years.
Edie is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 granddaughters- in- Law and 1 grandson -n- Law. Dan Anderson II, Candy Ryan, Summer Quintana, Laine Campbell, Jacob Ryan, Devin Claycomb, Dillon Claycomb, Unique Beall, Joseph Romero, Jason Campbell Jr., Jameson Ryan, Isabella Claycomb, Ava Evans, Rubi Ponce, Leslie Ryan, Jason Campbell, sister Mary Lou Tointon, Son-in-Laws Dennis Ryan and Robbie Romero.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, Edie enjoyed bingo, watching football, embordering, puzzles, reading books, fishing and caring for her dog Charlie. Edie touched many life’s with her generosity and passion for life.
