Born in Denver, Colorado, May 12, 1937, to Robert and Edna Anderson. She was the last living and youngest of four children. Edna attended Bromwell Elementary and attended South High School.
Edna then started a career in modeling for the Morganti Agency at auto shows, Frosty Food, Daniel and Fisher and several different clothing lines.
In April 1962, she married the man of her dreams and the love of her life, Lee W. Smit. They where married 55 years. With the support and love of both sets of parents, Robert and Edna Anderson and Burton and Tillie Smit, they built their house in Lakewood together, which Edna shortly made into a home. She had two children, Tammy Judson (52) of Orchard, Colorado and Rick Smit (50) of Denver, Colorado.
Edna loved her time camping and waterskiing. She was a world class seamstress and quilter, enjoyed her yard art, morning coffee, and late night campfires. Edna loved life and no one was ever turned away from her dinner table.
She is survived in death by her husband, Lee, her two children, Rick and Tammy, son-in-law Rodney Judson, several nieces nephews first and second cousins and step grandchildren.
