Edwin R. Landis, 83, of Golden died August 23, 2010. He is predeceased by his sons Jeffrey and Daniel. He is survived by his beloved wife Pat, son Mathew, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A WWII Army veteran, he served two years in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. A geologist, and member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, he retired from the US Geological Survey after 45 years of service in 48 different countries and almost every US state. He was an avid outdoorsman, world traveler, member of the Golden and Table Mountain Gun Clubs and will be greatly missed. Viewing will be Friday 4-8pm.
