

Ed was born on December 10, 1933, in Dunlap, Iowa. On his 19th birthday, he entered the United States Navy, where he served during the Korean conflict. He was a decorated veteran and completed his service as a First Class Petty Officer Radioman.
In January 1955, Ed married his high school sweetheart, Colleen. After his military service, the two made their home in Colorado, where Ed would spend the rest of his life.
Ed took great pride in his long career at Southern Supply Inc. He began as a truck driver working in the warehouse and, through decades of hard work and dedication, retired 30 years later as president of the company.
He is survived by his son, Curtis Lauderman of Denver, CO; his daughter, Linda Bordeaux, and her husband, Tom, of University Place, WA; his grandsons Austin Bordeaux and his wife, Caitlin, of Mountain Home, ID, Brodie Bordeaux of Seattle, WA, Collin Bordeaux of Seattle, WA, and James Bordeaux of University Place, WA; his great-grandchildren, Mason and Sophie Bordeaux; and his older brother, Don Lauderman of Marino Valley, CA.
Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Colleen Lauderman of Arvada, CO; his parents, Harvey and Louise Lauderman of Dunlap, IA; his sisters, Myrle Malone of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Norman Broz of Omaha, NE; and his brother, Roy Lauderman of San Bernardino, CA.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
