Eileen Marie Mill-Fischer

Eileen was born in Denver, CO to Louise (Corder) Butler and Grant Butler on October 12, 1928. She is survived by her daughter Linda J. Anderson (married to Russell M. Anderson). Her son Robert G. Mill passed away in August of 2017. Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert C. Mill who she married on February 19, 1949 in Denver CO and her sister, Bettie Butler who died on Oct. 21, 1942.

She remarried to Ed Fischer who was a retired Denver firefighter and long time neighbor and family friend in August of 1997. She had 2 grandchildren, David Anderson (married to Tiya Anderson), and Christine Cobb (married to Bryan Cobb). She had four great-grandchildren Tyler Cobb (married to Kristen Cobb), Brayden Cobb and Jordyn Cobb and Maggie Anderson, daughter of David and Tiya Anderson She also had 1 great-great grandchild, Dallas Cobb daughter of Tyler and Kristen Cobb.

She worked as a supervisor at the Telephone Company, an event coordinator for the Lowry Officers Club, a waitress at the Red Slipper restaurant and at Ski Country (a ski clothing embroidering accessory company) as a receptionist. No matter where she worked she always had a bowl of candy on her desk for her fellow employees to enjoy. She was also a avid bridge player.

She will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, with her husband Robert Mill on March 14th at 10:00AM. There will be a small ceremony at the cemetery for those who want to attend. A Reception Service will be held following internment at 11:00AM at the Olinger Memorial Chapel, 2900 Wadsworth Blvd. Denver, CO
