Elsie G. Torres, 81, passed away on Aug. 22, 2010. She is survived by 3 sons, 1 daughter, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; son Ronnie (Judy) Torres, 3 grandchildren, Amber Torres, Brian (Suzanne) Torres, Craig (Deanna) Torres, 2 great-grandchildren Maya and Rhea Torres; son Wesley D. (Connie) Torres, 4 grandchildren Dawn N. (Braden) Palmberg, Stacie M. (Dreher) Creech, Candice E. (Daniel) Lynn, 9 great-grandchildren Rigel B. and Kale A. Palmberg, Beau Jacub D. and Hunter M. Creech, Odessa E. Schmidt, Daniel J. and Dustin N. Lynn, Ethan E. and Gage E. Geiger; son Dale (Amy) Torres, grandchildren Angela (Dale) Holbert, Dale (Karla) Torres Jr. (DT), Jesse (Melissa) Torres, 5 great-grandchildren Shelby, Tre and Nathan Holbert, and Azariah and Isabel Torres; daughter Audrey (Ken) Stepp, 2 grandchildren Leslie M. (Christopher) Blair, Barbra J (Michael) Herrington, 3 great-grandchildren Allen C. Blair, Josiah and Donavan Herrington. Elsie is also survived by siblings Cecelia Chavez, Fred Chavez, Tim Garcia, Abel Garcia, Gene Garcia and Ernie Garcia. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward and her siblings Tony, Joe and Christina Garcia. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thurs., with services at 12:00pm on Fri., both at Crown Hill Mortuary. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Edward at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
