Ms Erma, I still miss you, but know you are with The Lord....You have always been in my thoughts... I Love You

Glen, Dwight and Janet,  I just received the Christmas letter so did not know that Erma had gone to be with the Lord.  I would have been at the Funeral to celebrate her life if I had known.  Erma was an inspiration to me and her constant love for the Lord and faith in Him was so real.  She always had a smile and kind words for everyone.  We will miss her but have many fond memories and her legacy of daily walking with God will be with us forever.

A note to Glen, Dwight and Janet:  I loved your family dearly and will always remember Erma as a lovely, witty, spunky and oh-so-strong, God-fearing woman.  The last time I saw her was 48+ years ago at my wedding shower and she told me she always thought I would be her daughter-in-law.  I think of that often.  She's now with her loved ones and has seen the face of the Lord.  How glorious.  May God continue to bless your family.

Mrs. Erma Braswell is one of the kindest, most gracious people I have ever know.  She always, always had a smile on her face and that twinkle in her eye that just made me smile back.  Her smile made me feel welcome and that she was glad I was there.  Even when she was in so much pain she rarely let on that she was uncomfortable in any way.   
She touched my heart, as I know she did with others, in a way that made my heart literally feel warm just thinking about her.  I will forever consider my self deeply blessed that God granted me the privilege to know this wonderful woman.  I will always love her!

 All those who mourn the loss of loved ones and at this moment remember the sweet companionship and the cherished hopes that have passed away with them, give ear to the word of comfort spoken in the name of God.  The departed who we now remember have entered into the peace of life eternal.  They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed and in the hearts that cherish their memory.  May the beauty of their lives live on as a loving benediction.  May the father of peace send peace to all who mourn and comfort all the bereaved everywhere.

I was a caregiver for Erma.  I didn't know her for long, but felt a very strong connection with her.   I believe she was an angel and if not while she was here,  I know she is surrounded by angels in heaven now.  I will miss her much, but I am glad she no longer suffers. She touched my heart.  I will always remember the kindness that both Erma and all her family members showed me.

My Grandmother was a sweet woman who always showed love and compassion to all.  She asked me about God as well and although our relationship with God was not exactly the same, she showed me love regardless of our differences, as did my grandfather.  Something I respected in them both immensely. 

My father has been an amazing care giver since the death of my grandfather.  I have had some good conversations with my grandmother over the years, but I remember a funny conversation when she told me she was no longer allowed to drive.  At that point, she did not seemed convinced it was for her own good, but I am sure the city of Denver would have approved.  To make her feel better, I told her I would get back at my dad, as I teased him that I couldn't wait to take his driving privileges.  He had that little laugh, like, just try it.  Ultimately, he looked after her with love and respect and I am proud to be his daughter.

I have know Ms Erma & Family for over 55 years and she was like a Mom to me in the late 50's & early 60's.
 I love you Ms Erma

One of the major joys of my life has been the opportunity and priveledge of helping care for my Mom.   A wonderful Christian, who when craftsmen came to her house, always asked if they knew The Lord or if they went to church.   After any response, she would then offer cookies and coffee.   She was a wonderful, caring mother and I will miss her very much, but knowing I will see her again makes me smile.
