Of Denver, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021 in his home. Ernie is a retired professional race car driver. Ernie and Zelda owned the Gunsmoke Truck Stop in Buena Vista, CO. He retired in Las Vegas and became a successful photographer.
He is survived by his children; Lori Chester (Eric), Shawn Spickler (Christine), Ann Marie Nordholm (Tim), Cindy Hansen (Jeremy), Robert Gomez (Pattie), Steve Gomez (Amy). Grandkids; Holli Schaub(Jarrett), Travis Oglesby, Zac Chester (Kristina), Whitney Rhyme (Chris), Amanda Spickler, Tanji McChesney, Lindsay Aiello (Dominic). Stephanie Nordholm and many great grandchildren and his sweet pup, little Angel. Also two brothers, Phillip Jordan (Bobbie) and Doug Jordan (Cindy).He is Predeceased by his loving wife Zelda Spickler and son, Scott Spickler and all their sweet pups.
