

Ethel Belle Pruitt, age 97, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Ethel was born April 15, 1924. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 9:30am. City of Loveland Burial Park, Colorado Hwy 287 1702 Cleveland Ave. Loveland, CO 80538

Ethel died peacefully after a 2 1/2 year battle with dementia. Her daughter Gaye and Grand daughter Carrie were at her side.
Ethel is survived by daughters Caryl J. Mast of Grand Junction CO. and Gaye L. Dudzinski (Dennis) of Fond du Lac, WI. Her Grand daughters are Christin "Curry" Gurule (Eric), Carrie R. Mast and Whitney L. McKay. She has 6 Great grandchildren, Bergon, Dillon, Bella, Walker, Cece and Kendall-Jean. Her Great-great grandchildren are Isaac, Elena and Camila. She is also survived by her brother Willard J. Hull (Tillie) of Arvada.
Ethel was born in Loveland and lived most of her life in Colorado except for a few years in St. Louis MO. and Titusville FL.
She had a 25 year career at AT&T. She started in key punch, moved to engineering and finished out her career in accounting. After retirement Ethel volunteered at the local hospital in FL and played the piano at church for Sunday service. She sang in the choir at Galilee Baptist Church for many years.
Ethel was married to Ernest "Bill" W. Pruitt for 54 years until his death on December 5, 2000.
Ethel always put others first. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains, creating oil paintings, floral arrangement, fishing, writing verse and watching the Broncos (when they were winning). She always made the kids animal pancakes, we loved them!
