

Eva M. Lindgren, age 96, passed away December 20, 2017. Eva was born June 2, 1921 in Union County, Iowa. She grew up in Iowa on a farm and graduated from Chariton High School in Chariton, Iowa in 1939. Eva worked as a rural school teacher for three years prior to marrying Gerald Curtis on June 16, 1943 in Russell, Iowa. Early in their marriage, the couple moved to Florida while Gerald was in the service. After his service concluded they relocated to Boulder, Colorado where their three children were born. The couple raised their family in Colorado. Gerald passed away in 1985. Throughout her working years Eva worked at Jefferson Bank and Trust from 1967-1987. She was a member of Bear Creek Presbyterian Church. On January 17, 1987 Eva married Charlie Lindgren. Eva took pride in her home as a homemaker throughout her life. She loved her family especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eva is survived by her children Jim Curtis (Kate) and Debbie Stokes (Bob); grandchildren: Jeff Curtis (Stef), Julie (Curtis) Seltz (Stu), Tamsen Stokes (Beca), Jay Stokes (Jaime) and Selena Curtis; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Curtis, her second husband Charlie Lindgren, son Jon Curtis and siblings: Doris Adolphsen, Byrle Swank, Hazel Lee, Helen Weeda and Earl Swank. Funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace, visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum, Wheat Ridge, CO.
