She was the oldest of five children. She was raised in Arizona, her ancestors being some of the first to settle in that area. She was greatly influenced by loving parents and other relatives. She married Ray C. McDaniel, April 1, 1938 in Safford, AZ, and they moved to New Mexico, Utah, and then to Denver in 1959. She is survived by her daughters, Leah (Norman) Castle, Orem, UT, and Jean (Bill) Welch, Thornton, CO, with whom she lived the last 21 years of her life. She and her brothers and sister made many opportunities to spend time together which she always looked forward to. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and hobbies but her greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She was gracious, cheerful, and ready to have a good time. She was always more concerned for others than her own well-being. She has given us a remarkable example of faith, righteousness and enduring well to the end of her life.
