Born, October 10, 1924 in Montezuma, Iowa; she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Edith (Sanders) Hockey.
Frances’ faith was very important to her; she was always involved with church activities. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren; they were her world and brought her much joy and happiness throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Howell.
Survivors include her children, James, Judy, Dianne and Vicky; grandchildren, Chris, Kim, Michael, Kevin, Lisa, Lori and Scott; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 12pm located in the Chapel of Peace at Olinger Crown Hill. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
