83 of Lakewood, passed away on November 19, 2012 in Englewood, Colorado. Born April 16, 1929 in Dalton, Ohio to Matthew and Pearl Schmidt. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Nina of 53 years. He is survived by his sons Steve &(Ann) Schmidt, and Ted &(Boni) Schmidt and his daughter Paula &(Larry) Smith, along with 7 grandchildren; James Schmidt, Andrea Schmidt, Dawn Schmidt, Veronica Smith, Nicole &(Michael) Sawyer, Jessica Schmidt, and Roman Schmidt, and 2 great grandchildren; Sid Sawyer and Rylee Sawyer, sister Elizabeth Schmidt, sister Joan Schmidt, brother George Schmidt. Paul was preceded in death by his brothers; Robert, Edward, and Ray "Dutch" Schmidt, sisters; Helen White, and (Alice) Jean Huett, his parents Matthew & Pearl Schmidt.
Services Saturday, November 24, 2012, 12pm in the Chapel of Peace located at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery. Interment to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery.
