Gary and Starr Hildebrand

Gerald (Gary) Dean Hildebrand and Starr Glow Hildebrand of Arvada, Colorado passed away on August 5, 2026 at the age of 72 and 90 years old. Gary was born on June 10, 1954 and grew up in Salida, Colorado. Starr was born on June 28, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Livonia and graduated from Bently High School.

They met while working at AMAX. Gary worked in the Tool Crib, while Starr worked in purchasing. They were married in February of 1980, spanning 46 years.

Starr was actively involved in the Presbyterian Women, Arvada Presbyterian Church, and loved to sing in the choir there. Both Gary and Starr loved to bowl and play golf.

They are survived by Starr’s children: Shaun Laughlin, Keith Laughlin, Todd Laughlin, Kerry Laughlin and Colleen Laughlin Enos. Starr also is survived by her grandchildren: Ian Laughlin, Amanda Laughlin Flockton, Matthew Laughlin, Sarah Laughlin, Zachary Enos, Seth Enos, Tess Enos Jacobson, Tate Enos, Taryn Enos, Trent Enos, Zane Enos, Cara Enos, Claire Laughlin Amend and Grace Laughlin Brown. Starr additionally has twelve great-grandchildren with three more on the way.

The family would like to thank Tyler Welch and Dan Pierce for being such caring neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, August 24th at 1:00pm. The service will take place at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary located at 7777 W 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Time with the family will begin at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

Everyone is welcome to attend a reception after the internment at the Enos Home located at 17450 Herring Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80908.
