

Geneva was born to Jerrie and Mildred Rice in Denver Colorado on June 8, 1936. She spent her entire life in Strasburg where she attended school graduating in 1954.
Geneva married Bert Dodge June 3rd, 1956, at the Strasburg Presbyterian Church, in Strasburg, Colorado.
She worked for the First National Bank of Strasburg, Rice Insurance Agency and Centennial Realty. After retiring she became a full-time homemaker.
She was a member of the Strasburg Presbyterian Church, the Strasburg Community Church , and the Comanche Crossing Historical Society.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, and scrapbooking.
She volunteered at the Comanche Crossing Museum and for SCC Meals on Wheels.
She loved family vacations. Hawaii and the Colorado Mountains were her favorite spots.
Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them, watching their sporting events, and other activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerrie and Mildred Rice and her husband Bert Dodge.
She is survived by her son David (Jolene) of Strasburg. Grandchildren Dustin (Missy), Jordan, Taylor. Son Darel of Strasburg, Grandchildren Stefanie, Christine, Lisa and Ayden. Great Grandchildren Wade, Becca, Jase, and Jaelyn. Sisters-in-law Louise Gerstenberger of Byers, Luella Drake of Friona Texas, and Edith Dodge of Byers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Geneva Dodge memorial fund at Guaranty Bank and Trust.
