George Chris Sigala

George Sigala was born Christmas Morning 1967 to Lawrence and Mae Sigala. He took his last breath unexpectedly on August 4, 2026 surrounded by the ones that he loved most. On that day, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and partner joined the stars to be with our Heavenly Lord.

George was truly one of a kind, unforgettable at minimum. Known for his quick witty sense of humor, big personality, and ability to make people laugh from the start. George was beyond his years with his wisdom and gave the best advice that he learned along those beautiful 58 years. It seemed that everyone had a funny story about George and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He was a big character who brought laughter, life, and unforgettable memories into the lives of so many.

George was also a great fisherman and a true outdoorsman. He loved gardening, and his yard flourished with radiant colors of blossoms and fruit. But above all, he loved his family, taking his kids camping and enjoyed gardening with his partner.

For more than 10 years, George shared his life with Lisa, his loving partner, and best friend. They enjoyed endlessly watching sports together, mostly the Nuggets and Broncos, and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 & 2. They stood by each other through life’s many chapters and remained together until his very last breath.

George cherished his beautiful 4 children, Gabriella, Samuel, Christina and Anthony. Who he protected, supported and guided throughout his life. He worked so hard to provide for his family. He also had a special bond and loved his son in law Dominic and his daughter in law, Leyda. His memory will forever live on forever in their hearts.

George was a wonderful grandfather who adored his grand babies, Romel and Eva. He would do absolutely anything for them, and his love for his grandchildren was undeniable. He was so proud to be a grandpa. They brought him a special kind of joy, and the memories they made together will be treasured forever.

George was also deeply loved by his siblings, Theresa, Shirley, Cindi, Louie, and beloved Larry. As the baby of six, he held a special place in his family. He will forever be remembered as the little brother who grew into a man with the biggest love for his older siblings and his extended family. His nieces and nephews had an irreplaceable bond with their Uncle G.

George leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, stories, lessons and love. Though his absence leaves an emptiness that can never truly be filled, his humor, his heart, and the memories he created with the people he loved will live on.

Until we meet again, George. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and never be forgotten. May you rest peacefully among the stars.

Please join us for George’s Celebration of life at Olinger Crown Hill on Monday August 31st, 2026. We will be having a viewing at 5pm and services starting at 6 in the Pavilion of Reflection. Come honor George by enjoying his last sunset together.
