I too met Jerry through mutual friends on Facebook. Vicky Jozwiak Johnson whom I never met in person and Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson who was a good close friend of mine.  Both who are no longer with us. I feel so thankful and blessed that they led me to get to know this wonderful, caring, funny man who never failed to check on his many friends when he thought they were not in good health or just needed a friend! It was a joy every day to log into Facebook to see what funny post or picture that Jerry posted, especially on holidays!He always brightened my day!It will never be the same without him! I will forever miss this dear man! I am sure that Jerry, Vicky and Liz had a joyous union! I am also sure that they are all stirring things up! To Jerry's son Tony and the rest of his family I give my heartfelt condolences.

My heart is so very sad that we never got to meet in person, but I feel I knew you as a dear and compassionate friend. I too met Jerry in CCR and I always felt it was a blessed day and honor to get to know such a warm and caring person! Your passing is being felt in the hearts of so many you befriended and gave of yourself and time. Thank you for bringing sunshine and beauty to my mother's and my life by your gifts of flowers and small gifts. Jerry my greatest joy for you is that you are no longer in pain and you are with your true love Vicky. I know she was there to meet you, may your love shine forever. I just want to say it was an honor to have known jerry..he was such a kind and compassionate man..always had kind words for everyone..it was an honor for him to call me his friend..I will never forget him..always in my heart..I will miss you ..

I met this great man many years ago on a face book game room.  We remained friends on face book until his death. Gerald will be missed by all who knew him. It was an honor knowing such a nice and caring man. I talked to him on face book chat a few weeks ago to check up on how he was doing. R.I.P. my friend. Prayers for your family.
