

Gertrude Ann Cox, age 79, passed away April 5, 2020. She was born in New Mexico, and graduated from Denver South High School. Gertrude was married to Ivan Cox for 46 years before his death in 2008.The couple raised two children Roger Cox and Gloria Cox who passed away in 1999.
Gertrude spent most of her life as a housewife. She also worked as a bank teller and a secretary for the family business Surplus Tools. Gertrude was known for sewing, she made many clothes and costumes for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid book reader, especially Steven King novels, and she enjoyed watching movies. Throughout her life she loved to travel she went to a lot of places including Europe, Greece and South America. Gertrude was a self proclaimed cat woman who leaves behind six cats: Rio, Rocky, Kobe, Athea, Cyndi, and Loki.
Gertrude is survived by her son Roger and his wife Melody and their two children William and Kimberly.
Private family services will be held.
