Gladys Borden peacefully passed away on April 26th, 2020 at Mountain Vista Senior Living in Wheatridge, Colorado. She was born in Ft. Morgan, Colorado on February 16th, 1918 to Lloyd and Leah Groat Brown.
Gladys loved her yard, camping, playing cards with her girlfriends and family gatherings. She cared about natural conservation and belonged to the Isaak Walton League of America and was her chapter president for many years.
Gladys lived in Lakewood for 52 years and raised her family there. She moved with her daughter Pam and her husband Dick and was with them for 4 years. She moved to Mountain Vista for a year. Gladys was 102 years old. She is survived by her son Don Borden, her daughter Pamela (Dick) Chambers, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Borden, daughter Leah Whelan, grandson Patrick Whelan, and great granddaughter Suzann Keithley.
