Glenda (Kelley) Cash was born on March 15, 1939 near Arapaho, Oklahoma to Earl "Bill" and Beryl Kelley and departed this life unexpectedly on August 11, 2010 at her home in Arvada, Colorado at the age of 73 years.
Her early years were spent at Arapaho, moving to Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of eleven. She graduated from Clinton High School with the class of 1955. She attended Southwestern State College for two years earning a secreterial certification. On February 17, 1960 Glenda married Marland Cash in Clinton, Oklahoma. Their son, Waylon, joined them on August 19, 1970.
Glenda worked at TG&Y during high school and at Nash Fench after college.
Shortly after she and Marland were married, they moved to North Denver, Colorado where she worked for Burlington Railroad for many years, then for the U. S. Air Force for several years.
She is survived by her son Waylon, his wife Kristian and one granddaughter Ruby of Greeley, Colorado, her mother, Beryl Kelley of Clinton, Oklahoma, one brother John Kelley of West Plains, Missouri and two sisters Darlene Miller of Thomas, Oklahoma and Shirley Carr of Clinton, Oklahoma, three brothers-in-law, Ronnie Cash of Albert, Oklahoma, Donnie Cash of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, Cecil Cash of Wynnewood, Oklahoma and one sister-in-law Betty Judd of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Marland Cash and her father Earl Kelley.
She was a member of the Arvada Nazarene Church for many years. After the Nazarene Church closed she attended the Friends Church in Arvada until her health prohibited her from going.
Glenda will be missed by many.
