Glenn James Moore

Glenn was a Colorado native. Graduated from Denver North High School in 1947. He joined the United States Air Force in 1948, later was discharged in 1952.

Glenn then went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1952.

Glenn met Iris E. Cunningham in 1953 at Walgreens where Iris worked. Glenn and Iris got married on May 19, 1954. Iris passed away on March 31, 2014. This May 19, 2021 would have made 67 years of marriage.

On Sunday September 6, 2021 his son, Philip and wife Diana were outside planting flowers in their new raised garden. They happened to see a beautiful little orange, black and white butterfly stopping and feeding on every flower. The butterfly would get close to Diana and fly off and feed some more on the new flowers they planted and fly close to Phil too. Phil told Diana, "that butterfly was my mommy, and that maybe she was stopping by our house on her way to get pop's".

A week and a day later my father had passed.

A visitation for Glenn will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 27, 2021 at 9:30 AM with committal service to follow.
