Goldia “Goldie” Evangeline Bowlin, 95, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born January 3, 1920 on a farm south of Studley, Kansas to Ella and Ivan Richards. She married John Eugene Bowlin in Hoxie, Kansas January 1, 1935.
Goldia was preceded in death by her father and mother; sisters, Geraldine Hoke and Erma Rehtus; beloved son, Richard Lee Bowlin, September 14, 2012; and beloved husband, John Eugene Bowlin, October 30, 2004.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Kay Stroh and Robert Eugene Bowlin and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 2-3pm with her funeral service at 3pm, Monday, April 13, 2015, at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace.
