After serving in both the Army and the Navy, Guy met La Von Bannon in Denver. They married in October 1952. They lived in the Denver area until moving to Steamboat Springs, where they ran a rental company for many years. They moved to Loveland, CO after they retired and were there for many years also.
Guy and La Von were married for 58 years until La Von passed away in 2010.
After her passing, Guy moved back to Denver to be closer to his family.
He is survived by his sister, Lucille Quinn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Guy is preceded in death by his wife La Von F. Bannon-Smith; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Thursday, January 28, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am, both at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion.
