Devoted husband to Cecilia Wolff
Uncle Extraordinaire
Successful Certified Public Accountant
1935-2022
Harold passed away peacefully at home on the morning of April 15th, 2022 at the age of 86. Harold was preceded in death by his life partner and wife, Cecilia Kaul Wolff. The couple had lived in their home for over 50 years and it was the site of many visitations from both local nieces and nephews as well as those that visited from afar.
Born and raised in Watkins County, Montana, to Christian and Christina Wolff, Harold was the 11th of 12 children. Raised on the homestead, his parents moved to Terry, Montana when Harold and his two brothers, Leonard and Ralph, were still attending school. He used to love to tell stories about playing football, participating in school theater and being a member of the a cappella group in high school.
After graduation, Harold and Cecelia married and worked in the Terry area until Harold volunteered to serve in the US Army. Upon returning home, he entered the University of Montana where he studied accounting. He graduated in 1963 with honors and passed his CPA certification that same year. Harold and Cecelia soon moved to the Denver area and then settled in Arvada in 1968. He loved to play golf and watch his Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
Harold is survived by his older sister, Palma Chambers of Littleton, CO, his older brother, Leonard Wolff of Miles City, MT, as well as his brother-in-law, Wray (Curley) Freiboth, also of Arvada, CO and brother-in-law Floyd and his wife Diann Kaul of Westby, MT. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews spread out across the states.
His last wishes were for his family to know that he loved them all and that he had a good life. He will most certainly be missed, but we are grateful he is at peace and we were all so blessed for the times we had together.
