

Harry James Kline passed away January 12, 2014. Husband of the late Yoland Kline; brother of Doris Rice, Alberta Kelley, Irving Lee Kline, Margaret Hopkins, David H. Kline. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation, Sunday, 6-7pm; Funeral, Monday, 2:30pm; both at Olinger Crown Hill, 29th & Wadsworth. Interment to follow. HARRY JAMES KLINE - 1931 - 2014
Harry James Kline was born May 11, 1931 in Arvada, Jefferson Co., Colorado, the oldest son and fourth child of Albert Irving and Rose Marie (Koch) Kline.
He attended school in Arvada, Empire, Idaho Springs and Denver, Colorado, graduating from East Denver High School in 1949. He attended college for engineering courses in Denver where he was hired as an engineer by Gulf Oil Co. When the Denver office closed he was transferred to New Orleans, Louisiana by Gulf Oil. He left their employ and became and engineer for Fluor Ocean Services International, an oil pipeline company based in Houston, Texas.
His work has taken him to Alaska, England, the Netherlands, Bangkok, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
On November 3, 1952 Harry married Ann Yoland Kline in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of Edward Leonard and Winifred Florence (Lama) Kline. Harry and Yoland had no children of their own.
In Houston they bought a home and Harry worked in the Houston office of Fluor Ocean Services when not working for them in distant lands. His work has taken him to Alaska, England, Holland, Bangkok, and Saudi Arabia where he helped design an offshore oil platform - totally solar electric powered..
With both Harry and Yoland having family in Denver, they made a trip their each year from Houston to visit and for Harry to go hunting. In January 1999, with Harry retired, they moved to the Denver area, buying a home in Arvada, Colorado.
Yoland predeceased Harry, passing April 2, 2007. Surviving relatives include brothers and sisters, Doris Rice of Porterville, California, Alberta Kelley of Nampa, Idaho, Lee Kline and Margaret Hopkins both of Denver, Colorado and David Kline of Lake Worth, Florida. Harry will be greatly missed by them and their children as a favorite uncle. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheatridge, Colorado beside his wife.
