Hazel was born August 4, 1932, to Floyd and Minnie Fager in Flagler, CO. She grew up in Flagler until her marriage to Marvin Kenneth Brandenburger on April 7, 1951. At 85 years old, she went to be with her Savior at their home in Wheat Ridge, CO, surrounded by family. She loved her family and the Lord, and exalted His Name in all that she encountered. She was a homemaker, cosmetologist, dental assistant and extended herself to working at Coors Ceramics Co., cleaning homes, and decorating cakes. She was an avid fisherman and camper. She loved life to its fullest and taught each family member the importance of family and God. Until unable to participate because of health concerns, Hazel was a leader in her church in Women's & Children's Ministry, Missions, & Hospitality. Even though homebound, she continued to be a prayer warrior for family and friends. She has been a member of Clear Creek Church in Wheat Ridge, CO, for many years, formerly known as Fruitdale Baptist Church. Surviving Hazel are her husband, one daughter and four sons (Cheryl Yeske, Daniel Brandenburger, Mark Brandenburger, David Brandenburger, James Brandenburger), eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Hazel grew up with nine siblings, three still surviving (Shirley Duncan, Harold "Brownie" Fager, and Edna Clovis). Visitation will be at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery (7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) on Monday, June 25, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Services to be held at same location on Tuesday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m., with reception following at Clear Creek Church (10555 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge) from 1:00-3:00 p.m..
