Helen was born, February 22, 1943 to Frank and Irene Gessing, she had two brothers, Frank and Tom. She married our dad (Harold Hawkins) on September 10, 1960, she always joked that she was married on Friday and started her Senior year on Monday. They were married 51 years at the time of dad’s passing on April 20, 2012.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and our dad. She leaves behind 3 children, Lena (Rob), Leona (Mike) and Harold (Nacona), 8 grandchildren, Dustin (Kristen), Rennee (Dan), Kyle, Ethan, Joshua (Katie), Zachary (Alana), Trevor, Westin (Hunter) and her pride and joy 3 great grandchildren, Daniel, Blaine and Emery. As well as sister in law, Charlene (Ron). And several nieces and nephews.
She worked as a payroll/accounting clerk most of her adult life. She retired from Coors Container and enjoyed time with friends and was on several bowling leagues.
Mom touched so many lives and we will all miss her forever, we know she is at peace and back with our dad.
