The following is a poem written by Hermoine for her mother, date unknown.
She’s kind and gentle, sweet and good,
She’s special, can’t you see?
I think the whole world of her,
A share of her belongs to me.
My one desire is that I may
Be worthy of her love,
That in His Kingdom, as on earth,
I’ll dwell with her above.
Of all the mothers in the world,
I’m sure that she’s the best,
She’s the one I’d stake my whole life on,
I’ll wager you have guessed.
