91, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Born July 1, 1926 in Wagon Mound, New Mexico. Ida is survived by her loving family; son Conrad (Eliza) Chavez, daughter Theresa "Terri" Sandoval, son Robert Chavez, daughter Maria Grider, daughter Jamie (Angelo) Ortiz, daughter Andrea Chavez, son Vincent Chavez, and son Adam (Denise) Chavez. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Chavez, grandson Rudy Ortiz, her parents, and many brothers and sisters.
Visitation Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 4pm to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Recitation of the Holy Rosary, 10am, and Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30am, both at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 3053 W. 29th Ave., Denver, Colorado. She will be laid to rest with her husband Jose at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
