Jack Dale Morgan passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the age of 80 in Aurora, Colorado. Jack was surrounded by his closest family members at the time of his passing and leaves behind his wife Kristen, his sister Marsha, his oldest daughter Michelle, his niece Rachel, and his two grandsons Steven and Ryan.
Jack was born on April 23, 1943 in Dallas, Texas, and remained a proud Texan for his entire life. Jack met Kristen in Dallas in 1963 where they got married shortly after and had two daughters Michelle and Melissa. Jack’s career began in the 1960s working as a telephone lineman for South Western Bell. During his career Jack worked his way up in the communication/telephone industry and retired as an engineer from Avaya after thirty-six years of working in the industry. Jack loved the telephone industry and not only was it his career, but also his hobby. Jack would often tinker with telephone projects and network communication projects in his home. In 1984, Jack and Kristen moved to Aurora, Colorado, for Jack’s career. Jack remained happily married to Kristen until his passing.
Jack was a gifted storyteller who never hesitated telling others a funny story about his childhood, cars he owned, his daughters, or his career; just to name a few of his favorite topics. For the past several years, Jack enjoyed weekly dinners with Kristen, his two grandsons, and his new Granddaughter-in-law, Sara. Jack loved to entertain everyone with his coin-trick, by making a coin disappear in his hands. Jack also enjoyed playing PC games such as Farcry.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Jack, his brother Sam, and his youngest daughter Melissa.
Jack’s story telling, humor and positive attitude stayed with him until the end and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
