

Growing up Jim enjoyed going to the Chicago Cubs games. He spent a lot of time as a child with his Aunt Lois. During Jim's service in the Navy, he worked as an Air Traffic Controller while stationed in Maine from 1955-1958. Jim moved to Denver in the early 1960's where he worked at May D&F in the jewelry department. This is where he met Linda. They were married on September 18, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. After marrying they resided in Denver. Jim and Linda had two children, Chris and Ann.
For several years Jim traveled selling jewelry. Next, in the 1980's, Jim and Linda opened Vintage Reflections where they sold vintage jewelry and clothing.
Jim enjoyed watching and rooting for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.
Jim passed away from cancer on October 10, 2025, just one day before his 88th birthday. His father, mother, stepmother, wife (Linda), brother (Duane), and niece (Nina) preceded him in death. He leaves behind his son, Chris, daughter, Ann, and nephew, Joel.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 1:00pm at Journey of Faith United Methodist Church, located at 1200 El Paso Blvd., Denver, CO 80221.
