79, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away March 21, 2011. He was born in Shamrock, Texas. Gene is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacque; children Steve (Sherry), Kris, Mark, Lori, Scott; his grandchildren Ken, Chris, Nick, Danielle, Kaitlin, Amanda, Adam, Erik, Conner and Michael; brother in law Dean (Carol) Gatti and many friends. Gene graduated from Manuel High School and the University of Denver. He served as a navigator in the Air Force. He worked for 32 years as a cost analyst at Martin Marietta.Spending time with his family and friends was most important to him. Among the things that the enjoyed were flying his airplane, collecting coins, fishing, listening to Oldies music and playing the lotto. We will miss his smile and quick wit. He always had a joke to tell. Gene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
