She was born on August 8th, 1946, in Rockford, Illinois at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Jan was a hard worker and remembered most for her 35 years at United States Gypsum. During the 35 years at USG her hard work and lifelong friendships with clients were recognized through receiving many President Awards and travel from the company.
Jan enjoyed supporting her grandchildren at sporting events, school plays, and many other activities. She also spent a lot of time in her garden, a community garden and taking long walks around Crown Hill Park.
She was preceded in death by her father William Smith (Bill) and mother Lora Smith. She is survived by brothers Edward (Eddie) Smith and Robert (Bob) Smith, son Kevin Conley (Laurie), daughters Kristin Stewart and Karla Browdy (John), 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be Friday May 17th, 2024, at Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery Tower of Memories (10:00 am), 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
