

Jean Anne Brown 81, of Aurora, Colorado passed away gently on June 30, 2019. She was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on September 11, 1937 to Cyrus Byron Jones and Mae Estelle (Johnstone) Jones. Jean married Robert L. Brown and was married to him for 37 years. She had a career working as a Secretary for the Conroe Independent School District.
In her spare time Jean enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, photography, and writing. She authored a book "My Journey from Fancy Hill" which is registered at the Library of Congress.But most of all she enjoyed her three granddaughters Lauren, Malia, and Sabrina. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cared deeply about her family. She was one of the most caring, kind, and giving people ever known to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Cyrus B. Jones, her mother Mae Estelle Jones, her brother Larry R. Jones, and her loving husband Robert L. Brown.
Jean is survived by her son Nick A. Norfleet, son Mark B. Norfleet, Mark's wife Charlette and his daughters Sabrina and Malia Norfleet, daughter Lauren and her family, husband Colton, and son Tristan Turner. Also surviving Jean is Jean's brother Jimmy Jones and his wife Robbie and their two children Jason and Raelynn with their families, as well as nephews David, Rob, and Mike Jones and their families.
Jean will be missed everyday by her loving family and friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to Bristol Hospice in Houston, TX and Suncrest Hospice in Denver, CO for their wonderful help and care given to Jean.
Burial will take place on Monday July 8, 2019 at 10 am at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, Texas 77598.
