Jean Schofield, age 83, of Westminster, Colorado, died on January 13th after a brave, lifelong battle against physical pain. Jean retired as CFO from SKLD after more than 30 years of service and training herself in accounting. Known to her loved ones as Jeannie, Mom, Ma, and Grandma Kitty, she is survived by her sister, Roberta; daughters Debra (Randy), Valerie, and Gina (Chris), and son, Timothy (Heidi); nephew, Andy (Stephanie); and niece, Sally (Chris); nine grandchildren: Brittany, Jake, Rachelle, Jacob, Cody, Kristy, Jennifer, Taylor, and Erica; eleven great-grandchildren; and several cousins. Jean was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred “Bud”; mother, Virginia; brother-in-law, Steve; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial will be held on February 3, 2025 at 11 am at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, 80033; followed by a reception at noon and inurnment at 2 pm.
