Jeanne Shigley, Shurtleff, Haggerty born February 5th 1919 In Tulsa Oklahoma . She was an extremely talented artist, knitting, quilting, upholstering, cake decorating & sewing. She lived in Paducah Ky after moving from Tulsa Ok. She raised 7 children in Lakewood Colorado . Moved to Albuquerque then to Pharr Texas and back to Colorado where she lived until December 23, 2013. She is preceded in death by Leonard Shurtleff, and then Tom Haggerty whom she was married to for 18 years. She is survived by her 7 children, 12 grand children 19 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Her children are as follows: Jerel Davis, (Don) from Lakewood, Jim Shurtleff, Gunnison Co. Anita Ratzlaff (Marlin), Arvada Co. Phyllis Robinson, Lexington Ky. , Charlie Shurtleff, Aurora, David Shurtleff, Tampa Fl., and Fred Shurtleff in Grand Junction Co. The last 2 years and ten months she lived in the Allison Care Center where she was loved on and got great care. She lived to be almost 95 and now she is with Jesus in Heaven and is walking the streets of gold.
A celebration of her life will be a private family memorial close to her birthday.
