Jeffery D (Jeff) Kindig passed away May 13, 2023 at the age of 50. He was born in Denver and lived in the Metro area his whole life. He grew up and went to school in the Thornton/Westminster/Broomfield areas. He married and had four children. His children were the most important thing in his life and all he ever wanted was their happiness. After his divorce, he rekindled the relationship he had with his high-school love. They married and have spent the last 10 years together.
He loved bowling and started to do it at the age of nine. He bowled in the Junior League and traveled all over the state competing. As an adult, he was able to get back into it and was involved in several different leagues in recent years. He was thrilled to be able to go to the USBC Nationals for the last few years and in 2022, his team cashed which was an amazing accomplishment. Another love of Jeff’s was Texas Hold-Em and for many years he dealt Bar Poker in the Denver area and made a lot of friends doing this. To Jeff, a stranger was only someone he hadn’t spoken to yet.
He loved sports and was a Broncos fan to the bone; unless they were against the Detroit Lions. He was a die-hard Michigan Wolverine fan and he hoped every year to get to Ann Arbor and Detroit to see games for both teams.
Jeff is survived by his wife Kim (Oberg-Wallett), his daughters Marissa Kindig and Ashley Kindig, his son Landen Kindig, step-daughter Christina Wallett, and his parents Sandy (Clark) and Lenny Hart. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Kindig, and his daughter Emma (9 mos).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to CureSMA.com , which was very important to Jeff since that was how Emma died.
A memorial service for Jeffery will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
