Jerry R. Gierhart, also known as Pop, age 68, entered eternal life peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Jerry was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. His spirit is carried on by his devoted wife of 23 years Nancy Gierhart; his two daughters: Kimberly Gierhart-Sexton and Shelley Sansburn; loving big brother Jack Gierhart; loving sister “sissy” Mary Martinez Chaves; granddaughter Mari Compton; great grandson Austin Compton his “little buddy”; 5 step children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, that he loved dearly, along with an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. We were blessed with the time we were given with Pop. Pop was a special man, the neighborhood handy man with a loving, giving heart and contagious smile. He loved his man cave, best dog Nick and his baby bird.
